Resume Builder

A local-first resume app. Your data stays on your device unless you choose to export, share, or use AI features.

Last updated: April 7, 2026Contact: support@solvoralabs.com

Information you create in the app

Resume Builder stores the resume information you choose to create and edit in the app. This may include professional profile details, resume content, and optional media you add yourself.

  • Personal and profile details such as name, headline, email address, phone number, location, LinkedIn URL, and website
  • Resume content such as summary text, work history, education, skills, and custom sections
  • Optional profile photo you choose to add to a resume
  • Template and style preferences associated with your resume

How your data is stored and used

Based on the current iOS implementation reviewed on March 28, 2026, resume records are stored locally on your device using Apple's local data frameworks.

We use your information to let you create, edit, preview, organize, and export resumes inside the app. We do not require an account or mandatory cloud sync for the core resume workflow in the current iOS version.

AI-powered writing features

When you choose to use AI features such as summary generation, bullet-point generation, text polishing, or skill suggestions, the relevant text you provide is sent from the app to our AI backend proxy and then to the AI providers we use to generate the requested response.

We use this data only to operate the AI feature you requested. The current AI providers used through our backend proxy are Anthropic and OpenAI. The app does not embed a raw AI API key locally. The current iOS implementation also stores a local daily AI-usage counter on your device to manage free usage limits.

  • AI requests are only triggered when you actively use an AI feature
  • The text sent may include the experience, skills, or resume text needed to generate the requested output
  • Any future change to AI providers, retention rules, or processing flow should be reflected in this policy before release

Photos, exports, backups, and sharing

If you add a profile photo, that image is stored locally on your device and may be included in exported PDF resumes or backup files you create.

The app can export PDF files, and it can generate backup files containing resume data and optional photos. Those files are created for your use and are shared only when you decide to export, back up, import, or send them through system sharing features.

Purchases and Apple services

The current iOS version uses Apple's in-app purchase framework to manage paid access. Apple may process billing, subscription, refund, and entitlement information according to Apple's own policies and terms.

We do not receive your full payment-card details through the app.

What we do not currently use in the iOS app

Based on the current iOS implementation reviewed on March 28, 2026, we did not find evidence of mandatory account creation, advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or crash-reporting SDKs in the current app code.

Retention, deletion, and your choices

Because the app is currently local-first, your resume data generally remains on your device until you edit or delete it. Deleting a resume in the app removes that record from the app's local storage.

If you uninstall the app, locally stored app data may be removed by your device. Separately exported PDFs or backup files remain wherever you chose to save or share them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we add new SDKs, permissions, cloud features, analytics, or materially different data flows, we will update this page before or with that release.
